Woman suffers miscarriage in boat crash


The victims’ boat involved in the collision at open waters off Semporna town on Monday, where the 25-week pregnant wife suffered a miscarriage.

KOTA KINABALU: A 25-week pregnant woman suffered a miscarriage, while her husband was injured, when the boat they were in was involved in two collisions in the waters off Semporna town.

The 22-year-old local woman is in stable condition after the accident, while her husband, 34, is recovering from slash wounds from the blades of the speedboat engine, Semporna OCPD Supt Farhan Lee Abdullah said.
