KOTA BARU: Civil servants in Kelantan will be getting RM1,000 in special aid as well as an extra public holiday for May 5, which is a Thursday. The first day of Syawal is expected to fall on May 3 this year, which is a Tuesday.
In an announcement, the Kelantan government said a special Aidilfitri financial aid of RM1,000 would be given to all civil servants ranked Grade 56 and below.
