Retired cop fined RM6,500 for shooting cat, discharging firearm in public place


KUALA LUMPUR: A retired policeman was fined RM6,500 by the Selayang Magistrate’s Court for committing mischief by shooting a tomcat after it ate his chickens and for discharging a firearm in a public place on Tuesday (April 5).

Magistrate Nik Fadli Nik Azlan imposed the fine on Zainol Abidin Md Zain, 65, after the man changed his plea to guilty during the case mention today.
