GEORGE TOWN: The government has been urged to take pro-active action to further reduce the number of students dropping out from school despite an encouraging trend of fewer dropouts in the last two years.
Consumers Association of Penang’s (CAP) education officer NV Subbarow said better skilled courses with more student-teacher interaction could probably be introduced to reduce the dropout rate.
