Omicron: Senior citizens, individuals with comorbidities advised not to travel abroad, says Khairy


PUTRAJAYA: Senior citizens and individuals with comorbidities are advised not to travel abroad at this time, besides avoiding crowded public areas, following the recent discovery of the Omicron variant of Covid-19.

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin (pic) also advised Malaysians wishing to go abroad to always adhere to Covid-19 safety practices, especially when heading to countries that had not yet reported any instances of the variant, as well as countries listed as high risk.
