JOHOR BARU: Farmers in Johor are struggling to keep their heads above water as they face off against a triple whammy: lack of manpower, the rainy season and a hike in fertiliser prices.
Way Kim Tack, who owns over 40ha of farms around Kota Tinggi, said the increase in the price of fertiliser had made it difficult for him and other farmers to manage their crops, especially during the rainy season.
