Budget 2022: Personal hygiene kits to be distributed to 130,000 in B40 group to alleviate period poverty


PETALING JAYA: Personal hygiene kits will be distributed to 130,000 young women in the community to alleviate the problem of period poverty among teenagers and women in the B40 group.

Sexuality and reproductive health education programmes will also be stepped up in schools with the help of NGOs, Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said in tabling Budget 2022 in Parliament on Friday (Oct 29).
