Dead baby found in dumpster


BUTTERWORTH: A routine neighbourhood clean-up led to a gruesome discovery of a dead baby girl in a dumpster near the flats in Taman Bagan.

The area’s Rukun Tetangga chairman and two foreign workers stumbled upon the body wrapped in a piece of cloth at 9.35am yesterday, and immediately alerted the police.North Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Noorzainy Mohd Noor said residents who have come across a pregnant woman in the vicinity or under confinement after childbirth should alert the authorities.
