KUALA LUMPUR: The Youth and Sports Ministry is in the midst of developing the e-sport sector as it has the potential to contribute not only to the country’s economy but create new job opportunities as well, says Deputy Minister Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker.
Based on findings by an independent think-tank, he added that Malaysians spent an estimated whopping RM600mil on video games in 2019.
