A FOUR-YEAR-OLD boy has earned himself a place in the Malaysia Book of Records by identifying flags of 198 countries in less than 10 minutes, Makkal Osai reported.

Rashvin Kalidass from Semenyih, who is on the autism spectrum, completed the feat in nine minutes and 54 seconds, beating the record held previously by a five-year-old boy from Negri Sembilan.

His mother Krishnarani Balakrishnan, 36, said she and her husband noticed the boy’s good memory when he was about two and a half years old.

> The daily also reported that a businessman in Negri Sembilan has pleaded not guilty to committing criminal breach of trust involving a multi-million ringgit Hindu deity statue belonging to a temple.

Datuk M. Natarajen was charged with the offence at the Seremban Sessions Court on Wednesday.

The businessman, 39, allegedly took a century-old “karunggal” stone statue from the Sri Thandayuthapani Temple in Rantau to India under the guise of repairing it.

He allegedly replaced the statue worth RM2.7mil with a fake one and brought it to the temple in April 2018.

He was released on bail.
