Covid-19: 19,198 new cases bring total to 1,979,698


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 19,198 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday (Sept 12), bringing the cumulative total to 1,979,698.

Sarawak recorded the highest number of cases at 5,291, followed by Selangor (2,347) and Johor (2,110).

The figures for other states and territories are Sabah (1,717), Kelantan (1,435), Penang (1,309), Kedah (1,256), Perak (1,118), Terengganu (930), Pahang (584), Kuala Lumpur (376), Melaka (340), Negri Sembilan (283), Perlis (67), Putrajaya (32) and Labuan (three).
