PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court has upheld the death sentence of a former school canteen worker for firing shots that caused the death of a shop owner during a robbery.
A three-man panel, led by Chief Justice Tun Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat, unanimously dismissed Anuar Mohamed’s appeal and affirmed his conviction and death sentence. The other two were Federal Court judges Mohd Zawawi Salleh and Hasnah Mohammed Hashim.
