AGC, police taken to task over handling Ain Husniza's case


PETALING JAYA: Civil society groups, lawyers, activists and other individuals have taken the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) and police force to task over the no-further-action notice to a physical education teacher who allegedly made rape jokes in class.

A statement that was endorsed by 50 groups and individuals said they viewed “with concern and disapprobation” over the announcement by Sungai Buloh OCPD Supt Shafa’aton Abu Bakar that her department had received an NFA (no further action) notice from the Deputy Public Prosecutor in respect of the teacher.
