GEORGE TOWN: Over 5,000 seaport industry staff members will receive their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine from next Tuesday (Aug 3), says Penang Port Commission (PPC) chairman Datuk Tan Teik Cheng.
He said the commission through the Transport Ministry has agreed to coordinate the Transport Sector Industry Vaccination Centre for Penang Port at the Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal with the support of the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry (Mosti) and Health Ministry.
