SIBU: Sarawak recorded two deaths and 407 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday (July 25).
The state disaster management committee said in a statement both deaths were reported at Hospital Sibu.
"The first death involved a 60-year-old man with no comorbidities. He was found positive with the disease on July 20. The other death involved a 59-year-old man who tested positive on July 8. He had high blood pressure, diabetes and kidney disease," it said.
Of the 407 new cases, Kuching again topped the list with 198 cases followed by Serian (38), Samarahan (34), Sibu (23), Bintulu (17), Simunjan (15), Mukah (nine), Miri, Saratok and Bau (eight each), Lundu and Telang Usan (seven each), Meradong and Sarikei (six each), Beluru and Subis (five each), Song (four), Kapit (three), Asajaya and Kabong (two each), and Tatau and Tanjung Manis (one each).
The committee also said a total of 19 districts were still in the red zone, five in the orange zone, 13 in the yellow zone, and three in the green zone.
