21,000 food boxes for Larut’s poor


Ready for distribution: The food aid boxes that will go to people in need in Larut.

PETALING JAYA: A total of 21,000 food aid boxes have been allocated for the people in need in the Larut constituency, says Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.

The Larut MP said an additional 11,000 of the food boxes are currently being distributed by the Larut parliamentary service centre to the people in the constituency who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“This brings the total amount of food aid box that has been and is being distributed by the Larut parliamentary service centre to 21,000.

“Any individual who has yet to receive the food box assistance is requested to contact the village head or the Larut parliamentary service centre,” Hamzah said in a Facebook post yesterday.
