Dr Wee conveys Aidiladha wishes to all Muslims

PETALING JAYA: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong took the opportunity to wish all Muslims a blessed Hari Raya Aidiladha.

"This year, all Malaysians, regardless of ethnicity or religion, sacrificed to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.

"All of us sacrificed by not leaving the house if there is no urgent business, stayed put instead of returning to our hometowns during festive periods, gave lessons to our children who had to learn from homes, giving up on our holidays, and so on," he wrote in a Facebook post on Monday (July 19).

Dr Wee, who is also Transport Minister, said there will be a time when we will look back at the sacrifices, and discover that it is all worth it.

"We cannot give up easily. Keep on praying and work hard so that the pandemic can be eradicated, and we can go back to a normal life again.

"Once again, a blessed Hari Raya to all Muslims, and may your good deeds for the whole of this year be acceptable to the Almighty," he said.
