Kota Setar district lock-up temporarily closed due to Covid-19 cases

ALOR SETAR: The lock-up at the Kota Setar district police headquarters' is temporarily closed after over Covid-19 cases were detected there.

"All new detainees will be temporarily housed at the Kepala Batas Police Station (for male detainees) and Anak Bukit Police Station (for females)," said Kota Setar district police chief Asst Comm Ahmad Shukri Mat Akhir, adding that the lock up had been closed for a week.
