JOHOR BARU: Elected representatives including MPs must get approval from their respective district Disaster Operation Control Centres (PKOB) before handing out aid to the public, says Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay.

He said that Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman only applied to give out aid from house-to-house but the latter carried out the programme at his service centre instead.
