Covid-19: No compound notices handed out in inspection of Merlimau workers hostel

JASIN: No compound notices were handed out during an Ops Patuh inspection of 848 foreign workers living at a poultry processing factory hostel here on Friday (July 10).

Speaking after the inspections, Insp G. Gunaaseellan said that all of the workers and the factory's management complied with all Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The inspection was carried out by Jasin OCPD Deputy Supt Mispani Hamdan and 15 other police personnel members.

"It is good to note that the management has diligently adhered to the Covid-19 SOPs," he said when contacted on Saturday (July 10).

Insp Gunaaseellan said the foreign workers had strictly observed the SOP when leaving and entering the hostel.
