PETALING JAYA: All Land Public Transport Agency (Apad) and Puspakom offices and counters in Seremban will be temporarily halted due to the enhanced movement control order implemented, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

"Beginning today (July 9) till July 22, operations at the offices and counters of the Land Public Transport Agency at the Road Transport Department (JPJ) in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan will be temporarily closed," the Transport Minister said in a Facebook post on Friday (July 9).

He also posted a notice from Apad which stated that all appointments made during the closure period were cancelled pending further notice.

Dr Wee also said Puspakom would temporarily halt its operations in Seremban over the same period.

Puspakom also released a notice that all payments made for appointments during the period would be automatically refunded.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced on Thursday (July 8) that the entire district of Seremban would be placed under the EMCO from July 9 to 22 following a high number of Covid-19 cases there.

He said as of July 4, there were 5,504 active cases in the district, which comprises eight sub-districts of Ampangan, Labu, Lenggeng, Pantai, Rantau, Rasah, Seremban and Setul.
