St Anne’s Feast to go virtual again

All systems go: IT volunteers getting ready for the live telecast of St Anne’s Feast at Minor Basilica of St Anne in Bukit Mertajam.

GEORGE TOWN: Minor Basilica of St Anne in Bukit Mertajam will hold this year’s St Anne’s Feast as a fully digital event again due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

With more than 100,000 visitors attending the event annually in the past, the celebrations will be a virtual gathering for the second year for the safety of the public.
