CCTV footage leads to arrests of six suspected burglars


KUAlA LUMPUR: CCTV footage analysis led to the eventual arrests of six suspected burglars.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Anuar Omar said in a statement on Tuesday (June 29) that the first suspect was caught on June 28 outside a condominium here.

"He was seen acting suspiciously near a security guard post at a condominium within the Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park. After his arrest, he led the police to a unit inside where five more men were waiting.

"Four of the men admitted to breaking into an office within the area. Tools and clothes that were allegedly used during the incident were also seized," he said.

All suspects are aged between 23 and 37 years old and have been detained for further investigation.
