PUTRAJAYA: An assistant undersecretary of a ministry has been remanded for five days to assist in an investigation into claims that he accepted bribes amounting to RM1mil.
The 46-year-old civil servant is alleged to have received bribes in various forms as a reward for helping 11 companies secure general supplies, transportation and services contracts awarded by his ministry.
