PETALING JAYA: The closing date for the UPUOnline application will be extended to July 2.

The Higher Education Ministry said the ministry is aware of the time constraints some applicants are facing as they have yet to receive the review results of their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2020 exams from the Examination Syndicate.

The original closing date is June 21.

“It will also allow students to update their applications and choose their programmes via UPUOnline.

“The UPUOnline application is for SPM graduates to gain admission into public higher education institutions and public skills training institutions for certificates, foundation and diploma programmes,” it said in a statement.

Applicants have until 5pm on July 2 to apply via UPUOnline, it added.
