Covid-19: 164,282 vaccine jabs given on Saturday (June 19)


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia administered 164,282 doses of Covid-19 vaccines on Saturday (June 19).

The Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee (JKJAVMY) said, in a tweet Sunday (June 20), that 128,400 people had received their first dose on Saturday while 35,882 had completed both doses.

JKJAVMY also said this brings the total number of vaccination jabs given in the country to 5,675,002, with 4,086,087, or 12.5% of those eligible receiving their first dose.

The number of those who have completed both doses is 1,588,915.
