Woman burnt to death after van catches fire in Kuala Kangsar


KUALA KANGSAR: A woman was burnt to death after the van she was in burst into flames following an accident with a sports utility vehicle in Kuala Kangsar.

Kuala Kangsar OCPD Asst Comm Omar Bakhtiar Yaacob said 38-year-old factory van driver, S. Rojamani, was trapped in the vehicle and burned to death during the incident near KM54 of Jalan Ipoh-Taiping here on Tuesday (June 15) at 5.55pm.
