PUTRAJAYA: Immigration authorities have defended their enforcement activities against undocumented migrants, saying it is aimed, among others, at helping to reduce the infectivity of sporadic Covid-19 cases in the community.
Immigration director-general Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud said more often than not, the living conditions of illegal immigrants were deplorable and crowded with no proper sewage or drainage system.
