PETALING JAYA: Malaysia supports calls for the establishment of a Commission of Inquiry (COI) over Israel’s continuous occupation of Palestinian land, saying that such an inquiry would ensure accountability and humanitarian support for the Palestinians.
Malaysia had supported a Human Rights Council Resolution together with other members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) during the 30th Special Session of the Human Rights Council on May 27 (Thursday) in Geneva, Switzerland.
