UN acknowledges Malaysia's role in highlighting issues affecting Myanmar, Palestine


PETALING JAYA: United Nations regards Malaysia as a key player in the issues of Myanmar and Palestine as shown in discussions between UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres and Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (pic).

In a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office on Thursday (May 27), it said that Guterres had made a phone call to Muhyiddin to discuss further on the issues of Myanmar and Palestine, crises which have escalated in recent weeks.
