Wee: Supply chain will not be disrupted by WFH rule

PETALING JAYA: Airport and port operators are allowed to optimise their workforce to ensure import and export activities are not adversely affected by the government’s decision to limit the private sector workforce capacity, says Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

He said his ministry, in welcoming the National Security Council’s decision to limit private sector workforce capacity levels to 60% to curb Covid-19, is nonetheless committed to ensuring the delivery of essential goods through airports and ports to their intended destinations will not be hindered to ensure adequate supply.
