KOTA KINABALU: For almost 60 years, the state level Unduk Ngadau or Harvest Queen competition has always been a free-to-view public event in conjunction with Sabah’s month-long Kaamatan festival.
However, the Covid-19 pandemic saw the pageant, which is the basis of the harvest festival, and all Kaamatan-related activities halted in 2020.
