KUALA LUMPUR: Police are investigating the case of a missing car that went viral on TikTok.

Ampang Jaya Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak said that a police report on the missing car was lodged on May 5 at the Pandan Indah police station.

According to the 35-second-long video, the car, a grey Honda Jazz, had gone missing in the Pandan Indah area - supposedly stolen.

A voice in the video can be heard crying and pleading to the public to look out for the stolen car.

"An investigation paper has been opened. Efforts to trace the car are currently underway, with assistance from other agencies.

"The police urge members of the public to share any information on the case," said ACP Mohamad Farouk.
