THEIR father’s dying wish was to “face death with joy”, so two sisters from Thailand decided a dance would be a fitting send off, China Press reported.
A video of the dance at the funeral was uploaded to TikTok, which sparked debate.
While some netizens praised the women for honouring their father’s wishes others criticised them for not showing respect at what was usually a sombre event.
The two women later revealed that their father had died of a long illness and had requested that they celebrate his passing.

The 41-year-old, known only as Wong, was at a gym at 6.30am on April 27 and while doing a bench press exercise he was believed to have lost consciousness, which saw the barbell ended up on his chest.
He was later rushed to hospital but died on May 2.

The 36-year-old recently posted photos online of her well-toned abs, showing that the time she spent at the quarantine hotel had not gone to waste.
“Showing my abs in the middle of the night. It looks like my sports-selfie days are coming to an end as this is my last day of quarantine!” she wrote on social media.
Yang and her husband, singer Li Ronghao, were separated just months after registering their marriage in late 2019, were reunited in China on Jan 23 this year, 304 days since they last saw each other.
The couple spent three months together before Yang flew back to Taiwan last month.
