Squid jigging event to go on in Terengganu

Squid jigging is done only at night. The best time to do this is during full moon and high tide.

KUALA NERUS: Squid jigging, a popular activity that has become an annual event in Terengganu, will continue this year but in strict compliance with the standard operating procedure (SOP) to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Terengganu tourism, culture and digital technology committee chairman Ariffin Deraman said several programmes would be held to promote the event after Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
