PETALING JAYA: Khairy Jamaluddin, the coordinating minister for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme, has tweeted a short video on what those going for their vaccination appointments should expect.

In his tweet on the one-minute, 52-second video, he said: "For those getting their vaccination appointments, this is what you should expect at the PPVs (vaccination centres)."

The video follows a Dr Dira as she enters the PPV at Dewan Seri Seroja, Putrajaya, for her first dosage of the Covid-19 vaccine.

She reminds viewers that as soon as they reach the centre, each individual must scan the MySejahtera QR code and check their temperature before heading to the first counter for registration.

"Don't forget to bring your MyKad. Then go to the second counter where you can ask the doctors there any questions before signing the consent form," she says, adding that the following step is the vaccination itself.

She then proceeds to the verification station for the fourth step, where she receives the appointment date for her second dose.

"After receiving the vaccine, we will be placed in a monitoring room for 30 minutes," she says, adding that her vaccination is now complete.

She also reminds viewers that the vaccine is not only to protect themselves, but those around them as well.
