Covid-19: Sri Aman girls' school in PJ closed for two days until Tuesday (May 4)

PETALING JAYA: SMK (P) Sri Aman in Petaling Jaya will close for two days from Monday (May 3) after Covid-19 cases were reported there.

In a circular sighted in a messaging app, the school was instructed to close on Monday and Tuesday (May 4) by the Selangor State Education Department.

Checks with the department revealed that they had instructed the school to close for two days, but the circular being spread was not issued by them.

According to the department, any form of instruction from the school to its students, teachers and parents is done by the school itself, in writing or otherwise.

A check by The Star at the school found a notice plastered on the school's gate, stating the dates of closure.
