KUCHING: For nearly 50 years now, Safiah Sulong has been making agar-agar candy rolls at her home in Kampung Panglima Seman Ulu here during Ramadan and Hari Raya period.

With the disruption caused by Covid-19 and the various movement control orders, she has found a new online market for her sweet treat, known locally as agar-agar gulung.“I did not make agar-agar gulung for Hari Raya last year because of the MCO. But now I’m selling it online with my daughter’s help.
