Fahmi Reza summoned by Kajang and Sepang police next Thursday (May 6)

PETALING JAYA: Graphic designer Fahmi Reza has been summoned to the Kajang and Sepang police headquarters next Thursday (May 6) for two new cases against him.

Fahmi said he was being investigated under Section 504 of the Penal Code for the intention to insult to provoke a breach of the peace; and under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998; for two postings he made on Twitter.

The first posting was a modification of the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia logo, while the other was an artist's impression of Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.

“I am ready to face any investigation or new accusations, and I am ready to defend all my works.

“As usual, I will not delete those postings, ” he tweeted on Friday (April 30).

Fahmi added that he will give his statement to the police next Thursday (May 6).
