Cops say Kg Muhibbah activists remanded until Monday (April 26) while NGOs clamour for their release

KOTA KINABALU: The seven people who were arrested for demonstrating outside Kg Muhibbah in Tawau will be remanded until Monday (April 26).

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hazani Ghazali said they are under investigation for offences under the Emergency Ordinance (Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases 2021), the Peaceful Assembly Act, and for disobeying instructions to disperse.
