Covid-19: 2,717 new cases bring total to 390,252


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 2,717 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday (April 24), bringing the total number of cases recorded in the country to 390,252 says the Health Ministry.

The Ministry also reported that the country recorded 11 new Covid-19 deaths on Saturday bringing the death toll to 1,426

According to the Health Ministry, Selangor, Sarawak and Kelantan were the states with most new cases at 768,570 and 518, respectively.

As of noon Saturday, there were 2,292 recoveries, bringing the total recoveries in the country to 365,900 cases.

Active cases stand at 22,926, with 272 cases in intensive care units and 124 requiring ventilator support.
