Man gets eight years in jail for molesting minor

KOTA KINABALU: A 33-year-old local man was sentenced to eight years' imprisonment for touching the private parts of a nine-year-old girl.

Sessions Court judge Ummu Khalton Abdul Samad also imposed two strokes of the rotan on Roger Gamilus for touching the private parts of the minor at a house in a village in Kundasang under the Ranau district at 9pm on July 26,2019.
