Veteran rocker Nash injured in accident on NSE


SEREMBAN: Veteran rock singer Datuk Jamaludin Elias, better known as Nash of Lefthanded fame, was injured in an accident along KM250.8 of the North-South Expressway here.

Seremban OCPD ACP Mohd Said Ibrahim said Nash was in an SUV with his driver heading towards Kuala Lumpur when the accident happened about 4pm Tuesday (April 20).

"The driver lost control of the vehicle after going over a puddle on the road and crashed into the wall on the left of the northbound lane.

"Nash sustained injuries to his face and chest while his 33-year-old driver suffered light injuries," he said in a statement.

The accident is being investigated under Rule 10 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959 for failing to control a vehicle and causing an accident.
