PETALING JAYA: Business leaders are supporting calls for Malaysians to avoid unnecessary trips during the upcoming festive season considering the recent rise in Covid-19 cases.
They are urging everyone to adhere to the standard operating procedure as a rise in cases would be a bigger blow to the economy and lead to a prolonged movement control order.Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia deputy president Norsyahrin Hamidon said public health must be prioritised.
