Zulkifli: I flew on commercial flight to Saudi

PETALING JAYA: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri, who drew flak over a trip to Saudi Arabia, maintained that he went there on a commercial flight and not a private jet as alleged.

The visit, he said, was fully sponsored by the Muslim World League and that he flew on a commercial flight by Saudi Airlines.

“The flight from Riyadh to Madinah, as shown in the video, was fully managed by the Muslim World League, following a royal invitation by the Medina governor Prince Faisal Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud to meet with his Highness in Medina.
