Selangor Royals complete their vaccination

KLANG: Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin have been fully inoculated against Covid-19.

The royal couple received the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at Hospital Shah Alam here yesterday.

According to a statement posted on the Selangor Royal Office Facebook, Sultan Sharafuddin and Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin received the first dose of the vaccine on March 20.

The Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah also received his second dose yesterday.

“Sultan Sharafuddin consented to receiving the Covid-19 vaccination after being informed that almost all of the frontliners in Selangor have received their vaccinations, ” the statement said.

It added that Sultan Sharafuddin urged people of all ages not to hesitate to receive the Covid-19 vaccination in the interest of everyone’s well-being.

The Ruler also urged the people to quickly register through the MySejahtera app and wait for their turn to receive their Covid-19 vaccination set by the Health Ministry.
