KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has given an assurance to the public that there will be no political interference in corruption cases handled by the enforcement body, including high-profile ones.
Its chief commissioner Datuk Seri Azam Baki (pic) stressed that the integrity and good name of the MACC in carrying out its functions will be affected if there is interference from certain parties.
