KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor welcomes the intention of having Sabah and Sarawak referred to as “wilayah” as he says the two (now) states are equal partners with the peninsula as per the agreement prior to the formation of the country.
Addressing newly viral messages stating that Sabah and Sarawak will now be referred to as “wilayah” (territory), Hajiji said the term change was for now not official or true but definitely something he agreed with if it happened.
