Covid-19: Covax sends 38 million vaccine doses to 100 countries in 42 days, says Unicef


WASHINGTON (Bernama): The Covid-19 Vaccines Global Access (Covax) has so far successfully distributed 38 million doses of three brands of Covid-19 vaccines to more than 100 countries in 42 days, Sputnik quoted the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), which oversees the programme, as saying in a press release on Thursday (April 8).

"Covax has reached over 100 economies in 42 days since the first international delivery to Ghana on Feb 24," the release said.
