Seized drugs to be disposed of


MELAKA: The state police emptied its piles of confiscated drug substances for the first time since 1995, with the help of Kualiti Alam Sekitar Sdn Bhd.State Narcotic chief Supt Zulkiflee Rashid said the substances worth RM181,495.67 would be destroyed at the integrated waste treatment plant in Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan.

“The drugs were confiscated between 1995 and 2021, ” he said, adding that Kualiti Alam had the facilities to dispose of such substances without affecting the environment.
